Join quizmaster Paul Armfield on Wednesday for ‘The Quiz That Raised A Fortune’ fundraiser for Motor Neurone Disease Association at the Island Sailing Club in Cowes.

Former Cowes resident David Baker was recently diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. The response of he and his wife Alice has been nothing short of inspirational, and despite having to give up work, running and playing in his band Bobby I Can Fly, he has poured his efforts into charting the daily challenges of his gradual demise on a brilliant blog ‘MND Can Get In The Sea’, as well as raising money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association who fund care, campaigning and research to achieve a world free from MND, and who have already been a great support to David and Alice.

Inspired by his efforts, the quiz will endeavour to celebrate this much loved character and raise loads of money for MNDA.

Please endeavour to buy your team’s tickets in one batch so we have an idea of how many tables we will need.

The quiz will start around 7.30pm and the Island Sailing Club will be offering a full menu from 5.00 til 7.00pm
