Cowes Library is hosting a Cowes Fringe Festival event on Friday 26 May 7 – 8.30pm: The Path to Publication with published Island writers Felicity Fair Thompson and Julie Watson.

The workshop will explore how to go about writing and what to expect when you are ready to publish. The writers will discuss their own experiences and offer tips from lessons they have learned along the road to publication and include short readings from both authors’ recently published work: a children’s book and a nonfiction travel memoir. There will also be time for audience questions and a wider discussion. The session should be of interest to anyone considering writing a book as well as those interested in learning more about the publication process.
