This long film will begin earlier and be shown in two parts with an interval and Swedish refreshments.

The great Swedish director Ingmar Bergman draws on his own childhood experience in this vivid historical family drama about the saving power of the heart and imagination in the face of stern, unforgiving authority. Winner of 4 Oscars.

Film starts at 7.00pm. Doors are open from 6.40pm for refreshments.

They still take cash and you are encouraged to use hand sanitiser after paying. They offer a complimentary paper cup of wine or a soft drink. Their full range of refreshments is not yet available but you are welcome to bring your own (quiet!) refreshments. The wearing of face coverings is now a matter of choice.
