“The Lawn Bar” is open during summer weekends at Northwood House. Enjoy a relaxing drink with friends and family once again in the safety of the great outdoors in the largest licensed outdoor venue in Cowes, if not the Isle of Wight! So what better way to spend some free time.
With a range of great wines, gins and pitcher cocktails, as well as trendy beers from Estrella Damm and Camden Brewery , the Lawn Bar provides a perfect social destination this summer for Islanders and visitors alike. Booking isn’t required, just come on down, as we’ve got plenty of tables, but if you want to reserve an inside seat send us a message on messenger.
This year we are delighted to partner once again with our friends at The Garden in Cowes who will be providing delicious food to eat in (or take out) every day we are open this summer…so you can get great food and great drinks when you visit!
Dates when different hours apply in 2024:
Sunday 26th May & Sunday 25th August : Open only to ticket holders for our “Hello Summer Ibiza Day Parties”.
We may be closed on the Saturday and Sunday of Isle of Wight Festival weekend (17th & 18th June) depending on staff availability.
We close at 6pm on Sunday 30th June to host our annual Hog Roast Tennis Court fund raising event (get tickets on Northwood House’ event page).
We open everyday through Cowes Week (26th July-4th August) from 12pm to at least 12am
We are closed as a public venue to host the Wight Proms event on two consecutive weekends: 9th-11th & 16th-18th August*
We are closed as a public venue to host the Great Wight Bite Food Festival event on the weekend 6th-8th September*
