THE MAN IN THE HAT is a 2020 film directed by Jean-Paul Davidson and Stephen Warbeck and stars Ciaran Hinds as the titular Man.

The film takes us on to sunny rural France as The Man in the Hat tries to evade a group of five men wearing black, who seem to follow his every move, which he makes in his tiny Fiat 500 car. There is very little dialogue and somehow, little need for it. Much of the beautiful soundtrack is by Stephen Warbeck. Whimsical, quirky and at times melancholic, the film is difficult to define but also to forget.

We do hope you will help us get the year off to a good start by coming along to watch this engaging film and by encouraging others to do the same. It begins at 7.30 and doors open at 7.00 for your complimentary glass of wine. You may also bring your own refreshments.

Everyone over 12 years is welcome.
