Great news for comedy fans following on from their latest SOLD OUT show! The Comedy Social is back at Northwood House, so grab some friends, prime your giggle muscles and get ready for their next instalment, and what a line up they have for you! So without further ado welcome the following belly busters.

Northwood House are delighted to welcome a new band on the function band scene! MUFTI DAY will be supplying hits from the noughties along with a few over classic hits thrown in for good measure! They will play before and after the comedy, so you can even have a bit of a dance at the end of the night! They look forward to seeing you at what promises to be a stellar evening of entertainment!

You have the following comedians to entertain you:

Tom Deacon – burst onto the stand up comedy scene after winning Chortle’s Student Comedian Award. His solid stage presence and slick timing led to him support Doc Brown and Katherine Ryan on tour. An accomplished radio presenter with his own radio shows on BBC Radio 1 and Capital FM, Tom’s TV appearances include The Rob Brydon Show (BBC Two), Dave’s One Night Stand (Dave) and Edinburgh and Beyond (Comedy Central). They are overjoyed to welcome Tom to Northwood, they can’t wait to see a full steam headline set at their next Comedy Social, a truly great comic to headline their next event!

Joe Foster – is a stand-up comedian from Brighton with a sharp, dry wit and likeable persona which has established him as a firm favourite with audiences around the country. They are super excited to bring Joe to Northwood House, his dry sense of humour is a stand out quality in many of his performances, so grab a gin or a wine sit back and enjoy a stellar showcase of wit and sarcasm.

Duncan Adam – has been making waves on the South Coast comedy circuit for the last few years now, and is making a name for himself with his sharp writing and engaging anecdotes. Duncan injects all his routines with a brilliantly dry wit that audiences love.

Your Host and MC: PAUL COX – is your fantastic host and most definitely an unsung talent on the UK comedy circuit, performing at some of the best clubs alongside the stars, where he is very much at home. He has supported Esther Manito on tour and appeared at the Byline Festival and Victorious in his home town of Portsmouth and they’re delighted to have him. Paul has previously performed at the comedy social and this time they are buzzing to have him host!
