Rick Tomlinson is a marine photographer specialising in yacht racing, yacht advertising and Expedition photography. Based in Cowes (UK) Rick travels the world on assignments for the top magazines and events. Rick made his name capturing the Southern Ocean at its most treacherous from the decks of various yachts in the Whitbread Round the World Race. Starting in 1985 with freelance pictures onboard Drum published in Yachting World and Seahorse – he finished his 4 Race Whitbread sailing career with a commission from National Geographic.
